The Anointing of the Sick

ANOINTING OF THE SICK
 
 The anointing of the sick is administered to bring spiritual and even physical strength during an illness before a surgery or near the time of death.  It is a rite that is performed to convey God’s grace to the recipient, through the power of the Holy Spirit.  
 
 You may call the Parish office at 845-264-4464 to arrange anointing of the sick for yourself or a loved one.  In the event you are at Montefiore Hospital in Nyack, please advise them that you are a member of St. Paul & St. Ann Parish.  We have a priest at Montefiore every morning.
