Feeding Our Neighbors is a united effort to fight hunger. This campaign is a response to Timothy Cardinal Dolan's call that we all do our part to replenish the food pantries and soup kitchens in our community, which so many families in our community rely on to survive. Sponsored by Catholic organizations throughout the Archdiocese of New York and managed by Catholic Charities, 100% of contributions to the campaign will support local food pantries that serve New Yorkers, non-Catholics and Catholics alike.
Organizational participants in Feeding Our Neighbors include all Archdiocesan Catholic schools, local parishes, the Catholic Youth Organization (CYO), the Archdiocesan Office of Religious Education, and the Catholic Charities Federation.
St. Ann’s Religious Education Program along with the Parish, will be collecting non-perishable foods which will be counted towards the Archdioceses’ FEEDING OUR NEIGHBORS campaign. The food collected will be distributed through ST. ANN’S FOOD CUPBOARD for the needy of the Nyack community.
Food items can be brought to classes and put in the Food Donation box in the hallway, or they can be brought to Mass on Sunday and put in the box in the back of the Church.
